Indescribable Gift-Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the power of God for special occasions.

Many of us have falling into the trap of believing that the Holy Spirit is only uses His power in certain times, certain places or with certain people.  However, this couldn’t be further from the truth!

REALITY: The Holy Spirit is available 24/7.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matt. 28:20b

in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:5b

Old Testament:  God spoke through His prophets.New Testament Gospels:  God spoke through His Son.New Testament Church/today: God spoke/speaks through His Spirit.

I wonder if we fully grasp what it means to have God with us at all times?  Do we even understand the implications of what this means?  What an amazing, indescribable gift!

Lord, we thank you today that you have blessed us with the Holy Spirit when we believe in you.  Help us to fully understand what this means and forgive us for taking You for granted.  Help us to walk in tune with the Holy Spirit so that we can see the needs of those you’ve placed around us, walk in your ways, feel your love, and express your power.  May our lives show evidence of the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

இந்தியா வந்த தோமா தோமா இயேசுவின் பன்னிரண்டு திருத்தூதர்களில் முக்கியமானவர். அவருக்கு சந்தேக தோமா என்னும் பெயரும் உண்டு. காரணம், இயேசு உயிர்த்தெழுந்து சீடர்களுக்குக் காட்சியளித்ததை தோமா நம்பவில்லை. தோமாவைத் தவிர மற்று அனைவரும் அறையில் கூடியிருக்கையில் இயேசு அவர்கள் முன் தோன்றி அவர்களுக்கு தன்னுடைய உயிர்ப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்தினார். இதை தோமா நம்பவில்லை. தான் இயேசுவை நேரில் கண்டால் கூட நம்பமாட்டேன், அவருடைய கைகளில் உண்டான ஆணிக்காயங்களில் என்னுடைய விரலை விடவேண்டும், அவருடைய விலாவில் ஏற்பட்ட ஈட்டிக் காயத்தில் என்னுடைய கைகளை விடவேண்டும் பின்பே நம்புவேன் என்று கூறினார். இயேசுவைப் போல வேடமிட்டு ஒருவர் வந்தால் கூட கைகளில் துளையும், விலாவில் ஆழமான காயமும் இருக்க முடியாது என்பது அவருடைய நம்பிக்கை. தோமா சந்தேகத்தை வெளியிட்ட எட்டாவது நாள் மீண்டும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக இயேசு தோன்றினார். அங்கே தோமாவும் இருந்தார். இயேசு தோமாவைப் பார்த்து, வா.. வந்து உன் விரல்களை என் கைகளின் காயத்திலும், கைகளை என் விலா காயத்திலும் இட்டு உன்னுடைய நம்பிக்கையின்மையை போக்கிக் கொள் என்றார். தன் கைகளை தோமாவின் முன்னால் நீட்டி...

அன்றன்றுள்ள அப்பம் விசேஷ அறிவு! "எங்கள் நாட்களை எண்ணும் அறிவை எங்களுக்குப் போதித்தருளும்" (சங். 90:12). இது ஒரு சிறு ஜெபம்தான். அபூர்வமான ஜெபம். சிந்திக்க வைக்கும் வித்தியாசமான ஜெபம். "பாவியாகிய என்மேல் கிருபையாயிரும்" என்று ஆயக்காரன் ஜெபித்த ஜெபம், அவனையும் நீதிமானாக்கிற்று. என் எல்லைகளை விரிவாக்க வேண்டும் என்று யாபேஸ் செய்த சிறு ஜெபம், அவர் வேண்டிக்கொண்டதை கர்த்தரிடத்தில் பெற்றுத் தந்தது. வானத்திலிருந்து அக்கினி இறங்கும்படியாக எலியா ஜெபித்த சிறு ஜெபம், கர்மேல் பர்வதத்திலே மிகப் பெரிய எழுப்புதலை உண்டாக்கிற்று. கண்கள் பிடுங்கப்பட்ட நிலைமையிலே, சிம்சோன் ஜெபித்த ஜெபம், இழந்துபோன பெலனை திரும்பக் கொண்டு வந்தது. அதேநேரம், "எங்கள் நாட்களை எண்ணும் அறிவை எங்களுக்குப் போதித்தரு ளும்" என்று உள்ளமுருகி ஜெபித்தார் மோசே பக்தன். அவருடைய இந்த ஜெபம் 90-ம் சங்கீதத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அப்படியானால், அந்த ஜெபம் எவ்வளவு முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்ததாக இருக்க வேண்டும்! அவர் ஒரு தேவ மனுஷன். வேதத்தில் ஏழுபேர் தேவனுடைய மனுஷர்கள் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டார்கள். 1. மோசே (...
